Introduction

This document briefly describes wgrib2, which provides functionality for interacting with, reading, writing, and manipulating GRIB2 files.

Wgrib2 is maintained as a collaboration between Climate Prediction Center (CPC) and the Environmental Modeling Center (EMC).
